Australia’s Iconic Residential Recording Studio

The Grove Studios is owned by Australian record producer Scott Horscroft under whom the studio has made some of the country’s biggest records for artists including Ocean Alley, DMA’s, Skeggs, Dune Rats, Vera Blue, Birds of Tokyo, DZ Deathrays, Violent Soho, The Amity Affliction and many more.

In addition to this The Grove continues to foster a vibrant indie music culture for up-and-coming Australian artists, hosting songwriting camps, production and mixing sessions for artists of all genres.

STUDIO 1

Our largest recording space and heart of the Grove Studios. Studio 1 is built around our 56-channel SSL G console, the studio has a 52m2 live room and three isolation booths.

STUDIO 2

The perfect space for songwriting, production or mixing. Studio 2 features our Harrison 4032 console and a 15m2 isolation booth.

MIXING & DOLBY ATMOS

The Grove Studios is equipped with an extensive selection of vintage and modern outboard gear to help elevate your mix. We are proud to offer mixing in all formats including Dolby Atmos.

Designed and built by INXS bassist Garry Gary Beers the Grove Studios has been home to Australia’s most iconic artists and recordings - including Silverchair, Eskimo Joe, DMA’s, Courtney Barnett, Ocean Alley, Birds of Tokyo, Skeggs, Dune Rats, DZ Deathrays, Violent Soho, Kacey Chambers and many more.
